Liz & Andrew’s little wine bar is finally open! Most people will know Andrew as the ‘The Wine Guy’ & manager of Newcastle’s renowned Bacchus Restaurant and Elizabeth as the host of Hamilton’s Three Bean Espresso. Together they have been busy creating a sexy little space beneath the Boulevard on Beaumont in Hamilton.
Along for the ride is Head Chef Jeremy Salmon, also from Bacchus, who has created a tasty menu featuring a spread of smoked, cured, grilled & braised meats with a few clever vegetarian options to boot.
The wine list is Andrew’s pride and joy and features a collection of new and exciting labels from Australia and France. Each inclusion has been made with a focus on low intervention & natural winemaking from organic & biodynamic vineyards. The drinks list also exhibits a cracking selection of whiskies & gins for those who like their liquor a little harder…
The lunch & bar menu is available from 12pm daily and not to forget the early riser, breakfast is served from 7am daily and delicious espresso roasted by superstar newcomers Pablo & Rusty’s.
Fortunate Son will also be offering their services within the Boulevards Rialto rooms and Terrace. Whether it be a bespoke cocktail event, boardroom lunch or a corporate gathering, the Son’s Kitchen has got it covered.
